Misu Pete has been a great little horse for us. The younger half brother to our stable star Miracle Of Medinah; with 3 wins to his name, he’s given us plenty of fun. He suffered all last year from being too high in the handicap so his form dipped and he became quite costly to keep going. He’s not a horse you could really send to the sales as his front legs don’t look that pretty and he has a very pronounced overbite (or Parrot Mouth) which would put most people off buying him. For us though he’s great to have around. He’s a good ride and can lead the other horses. He’s also a good benchmark work horse. If young horses can get past him they must be quite useful. So he fits into our Club ethos perfectly. He has dropped down in the handicap to what we feel he can win off so hopefully we’ve got hold of him at the right time. Fingers crossed!
He’s been on a short holiday with his big brother. They love nothing better than getting muddy out in the field. Aren’t they adorable! (Pete is on the left)
