Looking at Bird for Life’s race on Wednesday at Kempton, there is a chance she won’t actually get a run. It will be very close and we won’t know until Monday morning. It will be a shame if she doesn’t, it’s the only race left for her at Kempton for a long time.
If she doesn’t get a run we will be trying something different. On the 30th April there are a couple of options on the turf; 12 furlongs at Thirsk or 14 furlongs at Salisbury. Obviously Salisbury is the preferred options, it’s a lot closer for us to go and support her. It could be a bit ground dependent as I’m not sure she will go on anything too soft. There are a couple of 2 mile options on the all-weather in early May if we need them. Unfortunately they aren’t at Kempton though.
