I was very happy with Born To Please yesterday. She finished 6th but she ran a good race. The ground wasn’t as soft as we thought it might be; it was probably closer to good. She was fine on it but so was everything else! It makes the run all the better as they’ve probably all run their races. She settled nicely off a fast pace; it looked as if she couldn’t go any faster. That was 9 furlongs so 10 furlongs is probably her minimum trip. We entered her at Sandown next Thursday 7th June but it’s probably going to come too quick. There are races for her at Windsor on the 18th June, Newbury on the 26th June and Nottingham on the 28th June. We will just have to see what the weather is doing nearer the time. If we get a dry spell we will just have to wait but she is worth waiting for.
Misu Pete and Black Truffle are in an Apprentice race at Wolverhampton next Friday. We are looking for other options for them too. There is a bit more rain forecast next week so we might yet find something locally on the grass. I will have a good look over the weekend.
