We aren’t going to run anything this week. The potential Yarmouth trip with Black Truffle and Misu Pete would have depended on them getting rain and it doesn’t look like it’s coming. Black Truffle had a fairly traumatic trip to Wolverhampton last week so it’s probably not a good idea to send him 4 hours on a box up to Yarmouth anyway.
All our attention will be on Royal Ascot next week so we won’t make any entries to interrupt that if we can help it. If I hear of any bankers I will let you know!
Bird For Life is the only one that might run that week. There are only a couple of options for her going forward but they are good ones. At Redcar on the 23rd June there is a 14 furlong handicap. The track is very flat which would suit her well. If the ground is good on the day it will be very tempting. If not, she will go for a 2 mile handicap at Kempton on the 27th June.
The others are a bit more difficult but there is an 11 furlong handicap at Newbury on the 26th June which we could aim Born To Please and Shamonix for. If the ground was soft Born could run and if it was a bit quicker Shamonix could. We will see how it goes.
