Since we established the Racing Club at the end of 2016 we have had ten winners and 35 placed horses from 130 runners, a win and place %age of almost 35%; both Mike and I hope that the guys who are in the Club find that it is an extremely efficient way to go racing as an Owner and offers a social and interesting two way street onto the racecourse through Rowdown.
We have been looking for sometime to build on the success of the operation over the last two years and, particularly, to try and improve the quality of the horses in the Club; working towards this we have made a couple of changes to the composition and running strength and we are particularly pleased to be able to bring Miracle of Medinah onto the Club's strength; and we are equally grateful to the High Jinks Partnership for kindly agreeing to his transfer of Ownership. Although not quite as young as he was, Miracle remains a classy six and seven furlong horse with a rating of 93; the video of his fast finishing third in a quality Ascot Handicap last Spring, here, shows what a quality person he still is and the second video, here, is a flashback to the Autumn of 2013 and his spiffing win in the Group Three Somerville Tattersalls Stakes on the Rowley Mile. He will be a tremendous asset to the Club.
He joins Misu Pete, Bird for Life, Black Truffle and Born to Please in the Club going forward; if you follow this link you can see the details of the Club and the value for money that we hope that it offers. Both Mike and I would be pleased to show you all of the Club horses on the move virtually anytime.
