Threediamondrings at Salisbury & Bird to Love at Kempton
Four Mile Bridge came to have every chance at Chepstow yesterday going on with the winner over two out before his stamina index kicked in in the last furlong with the result of losing two places close home, the typical fate of an each way bet; we will look to come back down in trip with him and he is getting closer to the Winner's Enclosure.
Our good friend and engimatic character Threediamondrings goes back to Salisbury this evening for their fourteen furlong handicap with a flip, no stalls in sight, start; this is a weaker iteration than the one in which he ran 11 days ago and in which he came to have every chance over one out before weakening; he will be positively ridden by Kieran O'Neill but it is hard to be over confident given his history over the last year; but he does have the capability to be involved even from five pounds wrong provided he consents to put himself together; there would be worse small scale exchange bets than the 44/1 that has just been matched.
Bird to Love is one of only a couple in Kempton's twelve furlong Handicap an hour later that are not fully exposed and she has run well in both of her handicaps; and is decently handicapped running off just 46 in the saddle with WIlliam Cox's Claim; she represents some real each way value at the double figure prices currently on offer and goes to Kempton to run really well.
Poet Pete takes up his engagement in Chelmsford's Plate tomorrow evening.
