Bird To Love is entered in a mile and a half apprentice race on Monday 18th November. Off her old mark she wouldn’t have got in but she went up an eye watering 9lb for her win at Kempton. Normally that would be a hard one to swallow but we do think she is progressive and her new mark of 55 will give us a lot more options to run her. I hope she can shoulder the extra weight. We will see what the race at Wolves is looking like on Saturday morning but there’s not many other races to run in at the moment and she is very well.
The next possible runner will be Misu Pete on Saturday 23rd November at Lingfield. He’s never run around Lingfield amazingly. It is sharp and downhill which might not suit him but we thought that about Bird For Life. The race is over 10 furlongs so at least he shouldn’t find the pace too hot.
Born To Please will go back hurdling now. We are looking at a race at Uttoxeter on Sunday 24th November. I’m not 100% sure of conditions yet so it’s not a certainty but we would like to go.
