I have been training racehorses since 1983 and I am now based in Rowdown Stables, Upper Lambourn, a modern, purpose built, Yard with 30 Boxes with easy access to the superb Lambourn Gallops. We moved into Rowdown on the 1st January 2016 and you can see something of the excellent facilites we have here. My team and I work hard to do the best for our horses and to achieve success and enjoyment for our owners; I pride myself on high standards and attention to detail.
Visitors to the yard are always welcome! You can keep uptodate with the latest news from Rowdown by clicking this link and you can see our immediately upcoming Entries and running plans by clicking here and then selecting 'Entries'.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Have a look at how to be involved at Rowdown here; a variety of options for affordable racehorse ownership are available from as little as £50 per month. Mark and Mike are always happy to talk about individual horses and ownership & partnership opportunities.
2023 Bay Filly
by Frankel (GB) ex Powerful Breeze (GB) ( Iffraaj (GB) )
We are delighted to have such a well bred filly in the Yard; Hatta Romance's dam won a Newmarket Maiden and the May Hill Stakes at the Doncaster St Leger Meeting in 2019 and then was just touched off in the Group One Fillies mile; from just three starts.
Hatta Romance has run three times for Rowdown in Maiden company, showing promise and ability in all three runs and finished an excellent second in a good class, albeit small field, Novice at Nottingham in June; given a fair mark of 77 we are really looking forward to running her in Handicaps and she is a filly to keep an eye on.
