The Week Ahead
Firstly apologies for a lack of a Blog yesterday; a day of internet connections being interupted; it would be true to say that Arlecchino's Rex ran something of a typical AR race; ran respectably, going on at the finish and not beaten very far without actually getting into the frame; we will think carefully about the right way forward with him especially as regards the trip; he is a half brother to a 16f Chase winner and comes from the family of the Sun Chariot winner Spinning Queen so going up in trip is at least something to consider.
No runners today or tomorrow. But we are
looking forward to putting Seeking Charles back on to the track at
Newbury on Tuesday afternoon for his debut under Rules; under our good
friend (and much underated) James Davies; he should certainly have the
easy ground his flat form shows he might need, witness his performance in the Amateur Handicap at Newbury last October.
Grand Echo, Amakhala, Ivat Ghia and Jubliee Time are all engaged at Kempton on Wednesday evening.
Conquest of Power has another Newcastle option on Thursday evening.
Qaaeadd is in at Southwell on Friday evening.
